Want To Be Part of the Fastest Growing Team dedicated to solving The Parish Conundrum?

The Parish Brain Trust (PBT) exists to help us do several things:

  1. Discover Obstacles: The PBT helps us have a more complete understanding of the kinds of obstacles, hurdles, and impediments that stop a parish from becoming vibrant. With over 17,000 parishes, hundreds of thousands of staff and volunteers, 35 million weekly parishioners there are a lot of variables, from the temporal to the pastoral, and from the human foibles to spiritual battles.  Understanding these obstacles is the key ingredient in developing possible solutions.

  2. Idea Viability Testing: The PBT looks at possible ideas that emerge from studying specific obstacles. By having a wide range of profiles in the PBT we can get input on specific questions:

    • How easy or hard is it for the parish to use?

    • How expensive would it be for the parish?

    • How easy or hard will it be to set up as a solution (ministry or other)?

    • How easy or hard will it be to raise funding to develop?

    • How impactful will it be in supporting an increase in vibrancy?

  3. Members of the PBT: The team includes priests (from across the country), parish business administrators, key parish volunteers, Catholic entrepreneurs, and national Catholic ministry leaders.

At The Connected Parish we firmly believe that if you are going to go on an adventure, you should invite your friends.
